Overall nice place to stay.

the room should be cleaned up every day, and the food for breakfast will be much better if variated every day

went up for psu football game. a tad out of the way but easy 8min drive. hotel was the perfect landing spot for that weekend. front desk was helpful recommending restaurants.

We were visiting State College for PSU football game and did not have extremely high standards for the hotel since it was in a college town. However, we did not anticipate that the bottom sheets on one of the beds would be so pilled we could not sleep (had to lay on top sheet to fall asleep), that the pillows would be half-size, or that we would only receive a set up of 2 bath towels when 3 people were listed as staying in the room. In fairness, we did not call down to the front desk to give them a chance to remedy since we got into the room very late after football game and dinner. We would definitely stay elsewhere if going back. Way overpriced for the condition of the bedding.

Everything appeared to be ok, typical hotel. Friendly front desk, suitable room. Comfortable bed. It wasn't until we went to bed that we realized what the issues were at the hotel. Don't think we'll stay here again. Absolutely no sound insulation between walls or floors/ceilings. We could hear the couple upstairs clearly, all night. Even just as they walked around in the room. Terrible night trying to sleep and it's not like we went to bed early. Great to have breakfast included, but powdered eggs are gross. Not really worth what we paid at all. Underwhelmed.

Check-in went well and the room was clean when we entered. The next day things went downhill for me. The breakfast was the usual powered eggs, wafer thin bacon, diluted orange juice, and cereal. I left for the day and found that the room had not been cleaned, no towels left, and the trash cans full. I called the front desk and requested at the minimum that the towels be exchanged. When I returned later, the towels were left on the bed and the old towels were still where we left them and the trash cans were still full. The room had not been cleaned and the beds were unmade. This same sequence went on until I left. They did empty the trash cans when I complained. As for the breakfast, I skipped this amenity in favor of the Perkins Diner around the corner. I expected a better stay for what I paid.

This was a super nice stay. Although the bed was not really comfortable for two teenage boys, we made it work. Overall the place was super clean, the service was spectacular, and talk about the most comfortable bedding and chairs!

Maggie at the front desk provided exceptional service even put pompoms and stadium bag in my room because I was there to watch my son cheer a PSU game - I will stay here again

My favorite part of this hotel trip was the location. It was off the main road. It was quiet and I could get my steps in. 😊
